THE BAD SPOT ON WILMER CRESCENT ROAD A NIGHTMARE
Frequent Vehicular movement on Wilmer Crescent road especially by tankers and trailers has damaged a portion of that road which poses grave danger to road users.Containers and tankers are waiting to fall on that bad spot and the consequences would be great.The high temperature during this period of the year is enough warning to the government to do the needful.
Wilmer Crescent road is a road with interlocking stones not designed for heavy duty vehicles.The deplorable state of the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway has forced tanker and trailer drivers to access the Expressway from Wilmer Crescent road creating problems for other road users.Safety of lives should be the number one priority of any responsible government.Nigerians know too well that we lack good Emergency Response in this country.ln view of this Nigerians are calling on the Federal Government to rehabilitate the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway,particularly from Trinity to Tin-Can 2nd Gate.lt is hard to believe that it is a Federal road.The importance of good roads cannot be over emphasized!Nigerians want the government to show concern for our bad roads than thinking about 2019 elections.
Nigerians are imagining what they would go through in the course of travelling for the Christmas.Nigerians are unnecessarily denied the dividend of democracy.See photos:
